Status Saturday: Week 7

The getting back into the swing of blogging edition.

Babbel Progress

Current lesson: Newcomer II (A1.2) - Unit 10

• It was another busy week, so I didn't make much progress in Babbel or blogging, but the good news is that things look like they're going to clear up this next week, and I'll be back to blogging daily.

Review average score: 51%

• Practiced Monday and Wednesday.
• I've reached the point of starting to practice the passato prossimo! Super exciting.

Dante Global Classes

Attended both Tuesday and Friday classes. On Tuesday we learned vocabulary and practiced forming sentences for shopping for food, and on Friday, we practiced the same in the context of shopping for goods and clothes.

Reading

With the limited time, I didn't make any progress in Olly's Short Stories in Italian for Beginners, but I'm feeling encouraged that I'll be able to get past Chapter 1 this coming week.

I also wanted to get a workbook, so I ordered the New Italian Espresso workbook. It should arrive by Monday.

Watching

This coming week, I'll start watching the Italian dub of Pocoyo in the background at work.
