Current lesson: Newcomer II (A1.2) - Unit 10

• Last week sneakily turned into another hectic work week, so I wasn't able to practice as much as I'd like.

• Didn't practice except for my Dante classes

Dante Global Classes

Attended Tuesday and Friday classes. These were great; Tuesday's discussed shopping, and on Friday, we talked about traveling an using apps.

One thing that I think the Dante classes do really well is they discuss modern and useful topics. This isn't a language class from the 90s. We're discussing things that you'd use in your day-to-day in modern Italy.

Reading

After finishing Chapter 1 in Olly's Short Stories in Italian for Beginners two weeks ago, I didn't make any progress this week. I did crack open "Nuovo Espresso" and complete the first exercises.

Watching

I'm not quite ready for it yet, but I'm going to start with some kids shows, beginning with the Italian dub of Pocoyo.
